Sunrise is particularly focused on investing in privately owned businesses. The firm makes equity investments in businesses where the owners are seeking to accomplish one or more of the following:
- Liquidate part or all of their ownership interest
- Need additional growth capital to maximize the future
- Buy out a partner or family member
- Retire or otherwise exit day to day management
- Plan liquidity for their estate
