Acquisitions
Sunrise Equity actively pursues the outright purchase of private companies. In some instances, SEI will partner with existing management teams to acquire a company from its owners. These transactions also include SEI purchasing a division or subsidiary from a large company.
Recapitalizations
Sunrise provides capital to owners who are looking to unlock a significant portion of the value they have created in their businesses. A recapitalization enables business owners to monetize a significant portion of their ownership position, while at they same time they continue to manage the business and retain an ownership interest in the company. This might include the buy out of partners or family members.
Growth Investments
Sunrise Equity partners with existing owners and managers to provide growth capital for private companies. Sunrise provides equity funding to companies seeking to develop new products, make strategic acquisitions, expand its customer base or add production or distribution capacity.

Creative Structures
Since Sunrise is an entrepreneurial firm that is owned and operated by its partners, Sunrise Equity also considers other "creative structures" for the acquisition and restructuring of private companies.
