Sunrise Equity Sunrise is a partnership investing their personal capital. The firm is not pressured by the demands or decision processes of institutional funds. The capital is provided by the General Partnership and a small group of committed Limited Partners with a history of making significant returns together. As the providers of the firm’s investment capital, the partners are patient long-term investors who are committed to creating value, and invite the owners and managers of their targets to invest along with them.
Sunrise believes in a conservative approach to debt, using more than adequate equity at closing, and planning to keep an appropriate debt /equity ratio to fund future growth.
The partners of Sunrise Equity are experienced developers, managers and owners of businesses. Sunrise is not simply a financial investor. The firm’s partners will utilize their extensive experience to work with management improve the profitability of its companies, develop strategic growth initiatives for its businesses and to support strong management teams. While a complete in-place management team is always preferred, Sunrise is willing to work to fill needed positions, even at the CEO level if necessary.
